the song is on my itunes list and i want it to stay on my itunes list but off my ipod. how do i do this?

REMOVING iPod SONGS
Hook up your iPod to your computer, open iTunes, right click on your iPod and open it [ http://i10.tinypic.com/2lu3m2x.jpg ]. Your iPod playlist should pop up [ http://i17.tinypic.com/490e4go.jpg ], then you can manually remove songs (click on the song and press Delete on your keyboard).

you have to delete it using the computer .you press the right button on the mouse and press delete.
