I know you didn't ask me, but I would TOTALLY have taken my wife's name if she wanted me to. We've been married ten years and she is my best friend in this world. I worship the water she walks on.

I will not make my husband take my name unless he would want too. Even then I dont think I would let him. Plus I don't like my last name so I would be gladly to take someone elses!

Nope.. but i didnt take his either.. It causes alot of frustration with us having different last names but its worth it.... I had the same last name for 21 years I wasnt gonna go thru all that hassle (courthouse, DMV, credit card companies) with the current divorce rates. We have however joked about him taking mine... hmm maybe i should press the issue? LOL

I hate tradition and i think that taking the mans last name is kind of sexist so when i do get married the bastard will have my last name.

I wouldn't make him take my name, but he can if he want to because it is sweet and nice. It is the 21st century. But I wouldn't take his name, I would keep my own for work purposes and use his name sometimes.

No, but I might not take his. Also, maybe I'll give one of our kids my last name, if we have more than one.
