no i am 35 weeks pregnant and have been having really bad pains and my doctor told me i could take Tylenol PM. so dont worry about that. Since your only a month pregnant drink hasnt done any thing to the baby yet. The baby doesn't implant until the end of week 3 so dont worry baby will be fine. Just put a stop on drinking and dont take medicine that is not needed and when you do make sure you taking the correct dose.

when you say you are one month pregnant, you are most likely saying it has been one month since you last period, which is how most drs measure pregnancy. so that means the baby has really been formed for about 2 weeks, some of which the time was spent traveling and implanting. so really you were only doing the stuff about a week in which it could affect the baby. and in the begining the little peanuts are so strong. as long as you give it up now i think you should be okay. i did the same before i knew i was preg and my kids are all fine.
also, tylenol pm is not recommended during pregnancy, but it is just tylenol (which is the only safe otc pain med to take during pregnancy) and benadryl, which isn't recommended but really that harmful.
so as long as you stop you and your little one should be just fine. good luck to you both.

For the most part you should always wait to take any type of pills. However, Doctors are okay with Tylenol to take. You should stay away from advil etc. Go to a doctor and they will give you a list of what you should and shouldn't take. Take a deep breath. As long as you do not drink while you are pregnant anymore you should be okay. Tylenol is usually perfectly safe by itself though.

No, the body is designed to protect the fetus from this type of damage. It takes a while for the placenta to begin the proper blood exchange pathway, so your blood contents are not shared with the baby right away. I forget when this happens exactly (I took a course in the anatomy of embryology), but I remember that the fetus is well protected in the early weeks before a woman knows she is pregnant!
Good luck....you'll both be fine!

You should be fine, it takes a while before the baby even has a placenta, it has a yolk sack for the first couple weeks so it is not even feeding from your blood yet! I drank in the begining of my pregnancy, (I didn't know) and my son was very healthy....don't worry! You will have plenty of other things to think of while you are pregnant, believe me, this will be nothing!

first, don't panic, relax... lets hope for the better, alright?
i was drinking & smoking before i found out that im pregnant (1 month too), i got a healthy baby girl...
next, you got to see your OB soon (as in --NOW) & tell her what you've been drinking & taking the past month.
there are chances that it won't affect the baby, but im sure as long as you didnt take drugs - - it wont have that effect at all.
most importantly, you have to take pregnancy medications immediately (vitamins & preggy's milk) to make your baby healthy. IT HELPS A LOT! u gotta take it religiously.
and eat healthy - ask you doc for the diet.
good luck!!!

Not really with the tylenol as long as you haven't been taking more than the directed amount.

If you've been drinking excessive alcohol, your baby may have Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. See your doctor soon, and have a sonogram done in a few weeks.
