Megadeth, being that Dave Mustaine, the founding member of Megadeth, also was one of the founding members of Metallica. Try Anthrax as well.

Megadeth is probably the closest, as Dave Mustaine wrote a good portion of Metallica's early material, thus influencing the sound greatly.

no, megadeth is the closest but still there sound and tone is just so different... metallica is one of a kind
