i get so bored at home and i live by myself . i spend most of my time at home, or at work ( i dont want to make friends with the people i work with ) . im happy to be on my own most of the time but sometimes i get really bored and have no one to talk to . where do i go to find friends?

lol definitely not desperate " lacey " just when i do go out the wrong people always try to be friends with me / make conversation with me . i just wanted to meet decent people for once but its hard to find people like that

Shouldn't be too hard for a woman of your stature and looks........join a club, organization, gym, etc.! (if you really get bored, give me a shout, I'll chat with ya)

There are all sorts of chat rooms on the Internet and you can always go out to a dance club or a movie to meet people. Why don't you want to become friends with people you work with? Are they older than you or something? Give them a chance-you might be surprised.

i live alone too and i find having my dog helps to get me out like to the lake or park and guys always seem to start conversations about him, go to the library and find some good books but don't find friends in bars and be careful of the internet too

if you go to community events or church are great places to meet people. get to know your neighbors or you can try to make friends with people at work. It always feels good to know you have someone to talk to at work if things arent going right.. Thats what i do. I just make conversation with people and next thing you know it you have a friend or aquaintance...Good luck and take care

I thought yahoo was a good place to talk to people until I met my girlfriend over the internet. Its a good idea not to meet people over the internet some times they're just crazy....like me.

I meet most of my friends at concerts, at parties or this swim team I used to be on.

Look for people who are honest about who they are, and avoid the ones who openly want to "cyber."
If they tell you they are married with kids, they are probably good.
By the way, I'm married with kids.
