Cool question! I live in SF and work in the Hospitality business and I never knew there was a virtual tour. But entering virtual tour alcatraz in google brought me this site.

I went to alcatraz and i think that the virtual tour your talking about is on the island. there is a lot of activites on the island. honestly its not all its cracked up to be. but it is interesting, just make sure to get the audio tour,
