Yes, I think they'll be definitely better when Shaq and Riley return. The Heat need that big inside prescence of Shaq, and Riley is an extremely good coach. They'll go to the playoffs for sure, maybe even make a run at a repeat.

It means that the Heat will be the best in the East when the 2 return...and the Heat have a lot of players who were injured this season (Jason Williams, Dwyane Wade, Shaq) or taken out because of body requirements (Posey, Walker) and even their coach is out...so you cant really say anything about their losses other than the 1st game of the season against the Bulls (they were probably too excited about winning the championship and getting their rings).

Doesn't mean anything.
Of those wins, only one was a team of 'substance' (Utah). Go back to the last 4 games, you have Portland, Seattle, Golden State, then Utah.
Let's take it back to include the beginning of January - where they had losses to LA Clippers & Phoenix. Each one, a nasty loss (losing by 15 to LAC, and a massive 28 pts to the Suns).
When (and who knows when *when* is!) O'Neal returns, I very much doubt he'll start out playing 30+ minutes a game. When he gets fit (if?)... then yes, they'll be better. But not enough to be the best in the East. Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit & Orlando will still be better... possibly Washington as well.

No!! Heat won't do much this year, Shaq won't recover from injuries and surgery. They won't win the championship, then Shaq will blame Wade. They will argue back and forth. The ***** in Shaq will come out once more and he will demand another trade, just like he did with Penny and Kobe. Poor Wade, why put him on the block like that??
By the way if you like the Heat you are probably a bandwagoning hippie.

This means nothing. mabe they are getting a little better.
they are looking like the lakers in the year 04-05.
coach left, big man out...
I doubt if they could make the playoffs.
they will be facing Lakers, doubt if they could beat them again.
DWade is a great player, but so was kobe in 04-05,
they might make the playoffs because the east are playing so m]bad. but they are not a threat any more.

It means nothing to me. Games only matter in April (at the earliest, for teams fighting for playoff spots), May and June.
