Giving away your beliefs no matter the base of the beliefs. Like religion or morals , is not something you should do for anyone. It gives away too much of yourself. I can see giving up some friends or a town you lived in. But faith and moral standing is what makes you who you are. It wrongs yourself to give away parts of yourself.
Relationships are meant to be shared. The gift of love and faith and trust in another is right and as it should be. but you share these things. Beliefs that run as deep as faith in your gods or goddesses, religions that have shaped you into the person that you are should not be up for barter.
