I was supposed to get my period on tuesday, I have had really sore breasts for two weeks now, I am not on the pill anymore. I still have not received my period, I am relaxing because I am ok w/ being pregnant. I have taken two tests one Monday and Friday both negative. Do you think I should take another one in the morning! Do you think im pregnant?

It could be possible. Get a blood test done. My sister did not have a positive pregnancy test until 16 weeks pregnant. The baby was perfectly fine but some do not women do not have high enough hormone levels at the time. A blood test detects the hcg hormone in your blood so you have a more accurate result.

It depends on if you are sexually active. When I went off the pill I wasnt pregnant and my breast were swollen and tender. My period didnt come either. The thing is, the hormones that the pill gives arent being pumped into your body to tell it to menstruate, so sometimes it take a month or two for your body to get back to its old self. Now, if you are having unprotected sex, you may very well be pregnant, however, they say that after you get off the pill you are infertile for a certain amount of time. I dont know how true that is or how long the period of time is though. The safest thing to say would be go to the dollar store. They have dollar tests that do indeed work well.

As soon as you miss your period (and sometimes 3-4 days before) you should get a positive result if you're pregnant. The First Response Test brand worked very well for me; I got a positive result 4 days before I missed it. Sore breasts can just be a sign of your period coming... a telltale sign that almost EVERYONE gets is being very very extremely exhausted. Maybe take another test in a few more days - once pregnant, your hormone level (that is detected by an HPT) doubles every 2 days. Good luck!

I would not waste the time with at home test any more if you think you might be go to your doctor. They can do a blood test and it is way more in depth than peeing on a stick. More acurate in the long run. This will put your mind at ease too if you suspect it. Last year I thought I was and I was 3 weeks late, had all the symptoms and then all of a sudden I started so your body can and will play with you from time to time also. Don't waste your money on those at home test anymore go to the doctor!!

maybe u being of the pill is making your hormones go wacko my frriend did that and she turned irregular (period wise) she had to go back on the pill to get them back to normal i think u should take a third test in the morning yes because in the morning ur urine contains the highest level of hgc so it would make ur test alittle more accurate if u still have no period by the end of the week call ur doctor and shcedual an appointment with him/her good luck

If you just stopped taking the pill you might be feeling a chemical/hormonal change in your body. If you've been off it for awhile, just wait awhile alonger...
Give it another week or two and test again. If your really desperate to know you can always goto a Gynocologist and I'm sure they have a better, more accurate, and advanced way of testing.

Ask your self these questions: When was the last time I had sex? Did he use a condom? Did I take a pregnancy test, should I? Am I taking any medications that could give mr these symptoms? Ok, now that you have annswered these questions and you still think you are pregnant, go to a doctor and if you haven't taken a pregnancy test then you should.

Probably not, the tests are pretty accurate, and when you stop taking birth control pills, it can take months for your body to readjust. If you have unprotected sex, you will get pregnant eventually, or you will get something much worse than pregnant. So, you know the responsible thing to do, practice safe sex, use protection. Make good choices. If you are worried, see your doctor.

well take the test in the morning, and get one of those early detection tests, those other tests dont test the right horemone thats early enough to determine pregnancy. the morning pee is the most accurate. but if your not pregnant, you might just be pmsing more than usual. good luck with everything!
