Act confident-not cocky. Be smooth-but not too cool. Talk to someone as if they were the President of the United States of America. Smile a lot-but make sure you brush your teeth! Bring gum with you everywhere-so you can offer some and share. Walk like you own the place. AND BE YOURSELF!

Well, if you are a shy person then you will always be shy. Sometimes we discover we're someone else, though. I think you should give your opinion on whatever you hear. Not all bossy about it, but you know. Trust me, once you start talking you forget that you are even shy. People should like you just the way you are, though. If they don't, then they are not your friends. You should let people know that you are not UNFRIENDLY, just shy. Do you even know why you're shy? Are you afraid someone might say something about the way you look? Act like you're not shy. Ask people about themselves, and when they answer. Make sure to make direct eye contact with them. Talk to strangers about weather and stuff. They'll never know you're shy. After all, it's just a 'stranger'. Feel positive about yourself, have confidence. Relax, and remember mistakes make you learn. :]

A major thing most non shy people do is too not care about anything. think about like this. its not your problem if some people dont like you , its theres, and you should just try to overcome your shyness slowly. positive views are a must.

the way that I've gotten over my shyness is getting a job that forces me to interact with the public. That way I HAVE to talk to people or I don't get paid. Also, you get to interact with your co-workers and make new friends that way. Think RETAIL!
