sleep on black satin sheets... and have a new pair for everyday... because black satin doesn't do a very good job of hiding the evidence...

First, I would pay off all my debts. Then I'd get nice cars for myself and my wife. Then I'd build my retirement home. When all that was done, I'd put the rest into an annuity that would pay out over the next 50 years, just in case I live that long.

Oh, yes, I would not quit my job, but I would definitely be able to stop worrying about what I would do if I ever got laid off.

Depends on how much I won. If it's about a million dollar. I'll quit my day job, apply a part-time one so that I can have more times to:

1) spent with my family,
2) do social work,
3) travel,
4) write more in my blog dairy.

Buy the three lots next to my house that are for sale.
Build a 2-story 9 bed room house with a 6 car garage
Set up a trust fund for myself, my wife, our son, my wife's sister, her daughter, her nephew. Even invite my son's three best friends and their mom's to come live with us. ALL need help!! Finally, I could help all of them.
Have everyone move into our new house.
Get two conversion vans and drive everyone in our new and bigger family, around the USA on vacations, vacations, vacations.
And donate money to St. Jude hospital. Our ONLY charity.

First pay the taxes on it, then pay off my bills & mortagage, and do the same for my parents, father in law, 3 sisters & sister in law & their families. Set up college funds for my boys and nephews. Buy a new house, car and and take a nice vacation to Europe. Also make sure to set some aside for retirement. however I would continue to work as I happen to like my job.

I would divide three quarters of the money into accounts in my name and hand debit cards to each of my close family members to these accounts then I would take the rest of the money and invest in some high yield stocks for a couple years and finally into retirement happy and carefree. in a normal home so as not to draw attention to myself. Why should life change because I'm rich.

I would share with family & friends, invest, donate to animal shelters and lobby Washington for tougher laws protecting children and animals against abuse, etc.
Finally, I would hand out $$ every day, like the Secret Santa Larry Stewart who recently passed away,to those I see who really could use the help.
