LG makes the best phones hands down. Some of the Motorola phones are more trendy, but they have a lot of software issues and are less reliable. Samsung is also a high quality manufacturer. I don't think that you could pick a specifically best model, as different features are used for different applications.

I'd have to say the LG enV. Its got a full qwerty keyboard, so you can type instant messages or text your friends easily, its nice and thin so It'll fit in your pocket plus its sleek too. Its got a 2 megapixel camera which is pretty high res for a phone that does it all. LG basically fit form and function into a cell phone for a provider with the best wireless range--Verizon Wireless.

I have a Nokia 6215i from verizon. I love it. It is really light; Has a long usage time; Has a color screen; Has speakerphone; Has text messaging, picture messaging, get it now, mobile IM and web 2.0. It has service, it seems like everywhere.
