Yes it does increase the chance if your ovulating. When your muscles contract it kind of sucks up the sperm and rushes them to your egg. I know this for a fact because my husband and I tried for 5 years until we finally concieved. Our fertility specialist recommended that I do have an orgasm at the same time as or after my husband to increase our chances of conception.

isn't it funny when most of the answers you get are just plain wrong??! Most people said it doesn't make a difference, but it does.
"Orgasm on the part of the male is necessary for fertilization. The woman's orgasm does increase the possibility of conception. Women who experience orgasm after their partner (up to 40 minutes after his ejaculation) have the very best chance of becoming pregnant."

yes, because when you have an orgasm it pulls the sperm up. When a woman orgasms, her cervix pushes forward dipping itself into the sperm several times, causing the sperm to enter the uterus through the cervix ,increasing the chance of getting pregnant

I have heard that it does because the muscle contractions help to push up the sperm. Try to orgasm at the same time as your partner.

You must be young or didn't pay attention in sex education. They don't have anything to do with each other. You need someone that can teach you the differences, a knowledgable parent, a sex ed teacher, etc. one that will teach you the truth about things.

It does not matter if you orgasm or not. My son's father was a horrible selfish lover and I have a child by him.

No it has to do with killer sperm swimming fast and furiously.
When I orgasim I feel like I'm pushing my insides out so I don't think contractions are going to help like that above.
