I know this question requires an opinion-based answer, rather than scientific statistics, but it doesn't matter. I'd just like to know what's everybody into? I like many genres - FPS, RPG, Adventure, or horror. I haven't bought a new game in forever, and I'm wanting something new. Anybody got any suggestions?

In my opinion, Gothic 3 is the best game out right now, and will be for a while. There aren't too many people that look at it that way, but if you want the most open-ended and non-linear experience you'll ever find in a video game, you should definitely get it.
Gears of War, Viva Pinata, and Tony Hawk's Project 8 are some other great ones, too.

call of duty 3 is one of the best new games out there. the online multiplayer is awesome and the graphics are very realistic
