not really.

Canada was taking part in the war since 1939 and it was founded after the U.S. colonies.

The U.S. was settled far more then 165 years before WW2.

If you mean the U.S. government was founded 165 years earlier, it was probably the oldest government in the war.

The U.S.S.R. was created around 1918, so it was only 33 years old. Italy was created in the late 19th century. Germany in the mid 19th century I believe. The french republic was founded in the 19th century. The Chinese government was founded in the 20th century.

So the U.S. at 165 years old was very, very old compared to the other countries.

Yes, America did a very noble thing for the world during WWII, and they often do not receive enough credit for it. We sacrified both on the homefront and abroad. This was the greatest show of determination and resolve that the world has ever seen, and will likely ever see again for quite some time (until the race for space domination begins).

No, the U.S. was very industrious by WWII but so was Germany. The main factor is that the U.S. was formed before the Industrial Revolution. This is why we have third world countries. These countries didn't industrialize.

No. The USA sat on it's butt and did nothing until it was actually attacked. It didn't "come to help", it retaliated!
