I have a old joystick that is compatible with 95, I have 2000 on my computer. The computer won't let me load the setup disk because of system requirements that only work with 95. I know there is a way to allow the disk to setup anyway, but I can't remember how. Any ideas?

I would try the website of the joystick manufactuer. If it is logitech, then try the logitech website, under support. Find a search box on the main web page or supprt page and type in the joystick model you have and see what happens, they would have the best new drivers for win 2K

Use the joystick setup in the control panel to manually define the X,Y axis and buttons.

all you need is the drivers off the disk so plug in the joystick and when windows promps you tell it to look in a specific location and make that spacific location the cd and then it should work and if it does not work go download the new drivers from the manufacture website.
