There's nothing wrong magnesium hydroxide. I just meant I needed FOOD PRODUCTS. Annd I dont know what contains sodium citrate, potassium citrate, calcium acetate, and all those fancy scientific words. >_> Last time I checked, pills weren't watery. o_o

I also want to avoid medications. I just want to stick to "normal" foods people eat on a regular basis.

But all those citrates, acetates, hydroxides, etc. are certainly helpful, only the the people who know what contain them >_<

What's wrong with magnesium hydroxide? It's commonly present in some antacid medications. Also known as milk of magnesia. It's certainly edible in small amounts.

Another 'edible' base is methylamine - the organic compound associated with the fishy odor of seafood. Pure methylamine is probably toxic.

Calcium carbonate is part of many calcium pills.

Here are some edible weak basic salts that you might be able to procure - sodium citrate, potassium citrate, calcium acetate.

The ash from burned fruits, vegetables and milk are all basic, but in concentrated amounts can be caustic to skin.
