yes i quite agree with the general idea your son is above average although i still believe your son is a bit young to bear results. however this is a two sided knife, either you get recognised and your life is sorted,i myself i gave a Cattell III B IQ test and resulted 159 and i am 30 , MENSA and all these organisations are very happy to accept me as their member but ...... and i mean it here.... who really wants to be in the spotlight of geniopathy virus? well in the grand scheme however being smart for yourself first gets you alive the next day and not being smart for some title.anyway they havent found a universal constant to measure what is really IQ and not some bits of numbers and some other strange things to match with.thats my opinion mate

Different IQ tests are are given to different age groups, so that the average score for anyone of any age stretches from about 90 to 110. So your son is in the upper level of average.

its just above average. IQ's do not change much, its more a measure of how the brain works than how much you know. my IQ was within 10 points of when i was 8 and 15
and 100 is average, not 90, at least according to a Gaussian distribution, as shown on wikipedia

well IQ isn't something that changes with age. It stays the same. 108 is right at or slightly above average.

Average IQ is 100, so your son is slightly above average IQ. Remember, average is where most people are (regardless of what their Moms claim).

Most IQ tests are geared toward people 18 and older, so it's a little skewed. 100 is average, so it's not bad. The problem I have with my "genius" is getting him to pay attention(he gets bored easily) and turn his assignments in on time(he tends to procrastinate).

My IQ score is 123, and I'm 13. I'm so NOT smart. I don't know what's average though.

90 is about average. So 108 is really great!
