If you need to add, add it to your reservoir bottle. Check the reservoir bottle when the engine has sit overnight. Just be sure that the coolant level is between the "Hot" and "Cold" levels. If the reservoir bottle is empty, then check the radiator level itself. Add as necessary to the radiator, then fill the reservoir bottle to the level mentioned earlier. Check on a regular basis. A 50/50 mixture is all you need. Doesnt matter what brand you use, as long as it meets your vehicle's specifications for rust protection.

After you refill go ahead and let the car run for about 10 15 mins until it gets to operating temp with the radiator cap off.. Once the thermostat opens you should see the level in the radiator drop, just top it off now.. ;-)

No particular brand. I worked at a place that manufactured name brands and also generic. They were exactly the same, only different labels. If you haven't flushed the radiator good first, I would do that.

shop your Nova!!!! i like Mustangs and that i like Ford, yet have faith me....the Nova is in all danger greater worth it to maintain! or you would be able to desire to tell him you will take the Mustang besides as money, then turn around and sell the Mustang...then you rather take all of the money and purchase despite you prefer. It additionally relies upon on what situation the two autos are in. in case your Nova isn't in that great of shape, and this guy is keen to today up commerce without strings linked, AND if the stang is in greater advantageous shape than your Nova...then yeah, you will desire to do it. sturdy success!

use synthetic, last longer than regular, so that means it saves you money. make sure it has little white balls in it that will plug any leaks too
