We would like to think we would have made it without the French, but it is possible we might not have. Before the French sent troops, they provided supplies and monies, without those supplies it is possible that Washington's Army might have been left with nothing to shoot and money to pay them. Also, without the French Navy, the British could have done more damage. To me it would have been very difficult if we could have made it if the French were not on our side.

It's unlikely that the 13 colonies would have succeded. The French made a crucial difference because it was in their interests to remove British influence from North America.
The Statue of Liberty was given to the USA 100 years later to commemorate this alliance.

They sure helped, like that blockade of Yorktown. The French were slow to help the colonies. They were helping the colonies mainly because they were at war with the British. So you could say they were doing it for selfish reasons. The French also helped unknowing by making Britain fight a two front war.

in my opinion probabaly not. The us weren't a match for the british who were the dominant power. The french did their revenge to the british after the 7 yrs war in which france was stripped of its territory in the new world. Saratoga the battle the french helped in was the turning point of the war that helped the americans beat the british. also take in mind that the country wasn't completely united. Franklin's albany plan of union gives us evidence of that.

Yes. It would have taken longer to win independence, but it would have happened. The biggest advantage the US had was that long crossing across the Atlantic. That combined with the sheer size of the US guaranteed eventual success.
