This book has been written to make this fact known to people. Since its first publication, originally in Turkey and then in many other countries, millions of people have read and appreciated the book. In addition to Turkish, it has been printed in English, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Bosnian, Arabic, Albanian, Urdu, Malay and Indonesian. (The text of the book is freely available in all these languages at www.evolutiondeceit.com )
The impact of The Evolution Deceit has been acknowledged by standard-bearers of the opposing view. Harun Yahya was the subject of a New Scientist article called "Burning Darwin". This leading popular Darwinist periodical noted in its 22 April 2000 issue that Harun Yahya "is an international hero" sharing its concern that his books "have spread everywhere in the Islamic world."

Science, the leading periodical of the general scientific community, emphasized the impact and sophistication of Harun Yahya's works. The Science article "Creationism Takes Root Where Europe, Asia Meet", dated 18 May 2001, observed that in Turkey "sophisticated books such as The Evolution Deceit and The Dark Face of Darwinism... have become more influential than textbooks in certain parts of the country". The reporter then goes on to assess Harun Yahya's work, which has initiated "one of the world's strongest anti-evolution movements outside of North America".

Although such evolutionist periodicals note the impact of The Evolution Deceit, they do not offer any scientific replies to its arguments. The reason is,of course, that it is simply not possible. The theory of evolution is in complete deadlock, a fact you will discover as you read the following chapters. The book will help you realise that Darwinism is not a scientific theory but a pseudo-scientific dogma upheld in the name of materialist philosophy, despite counter evidence and outright refutation.
It is our hope that The Evolution Deceit will for a long time continue its contribution towards the refutation of materialist-Darwinist dogma which has been misleading humanity since the 19th century. And it will remind people of the crucial facts of our lives, such as how we came into being and what our duties to our Creator are.

Ok i just read the book you described and decided to come and update my response about it....Without biasness i can say that the book is flawed in that it is treading on the same misinterpretations or old facts, and even downright lies that science has had to clarify over and over again. It has not shed any new light in anyway. I mean come on it is still even talking about the Piltdown Man...it was a fraud but it was science that proved it was a fraud...Science is self-correcting and only about the truth....this "Evolution Decit" book is worthless in my opinion because it fails to want to consider "modern science".
The onle reason their is no scientific replies to it is simply because it is not worth replying to. Consider if someone came up to you and ademently proposed that Santa Claus was real. I personally would just ignore him and let him play his little games. In a nutshell, it is a waste of scientific time and energy when there is so much more to discover in the world.
Science is about proveable, testable facts...Science has proven and accepted the idea of Evolution. Theory in science is not a guess...Please check it up because in the realm of science evolution is a foundation of how we can to be. I have studied it in labs and in school and without biasness i say evolution is an important study that shouldnot be overlooked when studying science. It is imperative to our understanding why things like viruses keep coming back from year to year or why we have diseases.
Just be careful how you try to judge science against philisophical reasoning because they are two different things. Science can be proven, philosophy doesnt have to be. Evolution doesnt go away simply because the amount of evidence that support it, such as our very own DNA is littered with evidence that supports it (which no religious person will ever debate) is overwhelming. I strongly suggest you learn about how evolution works and its brilliant and simple mechanics of Natural Selection and once you understand it you will see the truth. It's quite simple and quite elegant.
You know, i do wish there was evidence that said otherwise about evolution because if there was then that person would be a BILLIONAIRE because it would have an impact on the world and change things. This person would win the nobel prize in science for toppling an established cornerstone of science. You'd think religion or even the writer of your book would submit a valid scientific paper and if it was testable/provable it will surely win the nobel prize and change things...but no....so you tell me, why not? Could it be that they aren't telling you the truth? Science is the only way to go for open eyes and clear minds. Sorry to burst your bubble.

We also have many books "proving" that man has never landed on the moon, that George Bush had planned the destruction of the WTC towers on 9/11, that crop circles are the work of aliens, that Einstein's theories of relativity are flat out wrong, and the Mafia shot JFK. Most scientists don't have the time to respond to them because they understand it's futile and a waste of time. It does not matter that evidence in favor of the theory of evolution continues to mount, and that we now have indisputable scientific evidence for common descent of primates, there will still be those that refuse to bother to be updated with such evidence, and continue to use hoary old canards such as the Piltdown man forgery, or that Darwin recanted on his death bed, as if if repeated enough, everyone will eventually go along. It never seems to occur to these people that perhaps the new generations of scientists are simply tired of bored of these old things and want to get on with the cutting edge of research that continues to bring in new discoveries and insight.
I've glanced through this book, and it's the "same old". Nothing new here.

Hi. Everyone can have an opinion. In Islam, there are theories that explain the Big Bang, for instance, as controlled by Allah (pbuh) in every detail. They do NOT contradict the changes in life forms over time but attribute these changes to the will of Allah. I offer no argument, since I do not know, but I have an open mind. You may want to open yours.

Life is simply to short to defend well established scientific fact from religious nutters and bigots.
We did this for 1 1/2 thousand years and it got us nowhere. Then we put the dark ages and the inquisition behind us. Lets not go back.

277 pages of religious supposition and rhetoric
Complexity is not a contradiction of evolution. This supposes that God himself couldn't create a universe that evolves Man.
Why not? God is omnipotent. God creates the elements and the laws of physics, all tuned to result in our creation through evolution.

If you want to discover Mandarin but you have no clue where to begin then a program for Mandarin is the very best on-line program for the newcomers since it really starts with the basis.

You, as your book, are BSers. You merely wish to bring someone around to your point of view and it does not matter whether you tell the truth or not. Either would suit your program of manipulation.
