i haven't noticed it being more common than the gay scene than the straight scene.

Not at all actually , i go 2 both gaya nd straight as i have some straight freinds and the gay clubs in my city are actually pretty low key with drugs , the straight clubs you will find alot more people trippin out on E and such, wich are the clubs i try to avoid, i rather not be around a bunch of kites. Im not crossing out the gay clubs becuase they have the fair shair of kites to but no where near as much as the straight clubs, as for the alcohol, i think were pretty even, and alcohol is my choice of "substence" i wont go near any drug of any kind besides alcohol ,and i dont over do it either, nothing like a bacardi on the dance floor lol.

I know the illicit drug thing is around if you're looking for it. I haven't come across it when I wasn't looking for it, so...I don't know if that's an answer or not. As for alcohol being prevalent in nightclubs....dude. :P
