Ps: It felt like a hard pinch and only lasted for a second, so if you want to get it your should. Try pinching your upper lip with your nail, that's how it felt, you only fel the pinch when the needle enters and exits your mouth.

Yeah I'm thinking of getting it done lower but I'd have to pay for it once again, also I'm noy sure whether to take my first one out since it hasn't healed yet. The piercer I went to said it couldn't be any lower cause it'd be on too much of an angle, I don't know if he knew what he was talking about though.

In my honest opinion, I'm not fan of the monroe piercing in general, but it looks good on you. And to me the placement looks fine. Yes, I do realize that many monroes are pierced lower, but it's really all about personal preference. However, I'm hoping your piercer showed you where he/she was going to place it before actually piercing it. Also, if your piercer said he/she couldn't pierce it lower because of the angle, that sounds incredibly shady and wrong. Sounds like you need to hunt for a new reputable piercer. Good luck with that if you decide to take it out and have it re-done. Personally I think it's fine. You got a beautiful piercing that looks good. No point in taking it out and spending more money on what you already have and hopefully are happy with.

No not at all, honestly. I think it may be your nose ring that you feel might be making it look a little offish? Your nose ring does look good but maybe try putting a smaller one in there or a smaller monroe earring if that helps?..

Sorry but by the way...Did it hurt? (the Monroe piercing???) be honest because I want to get mine done but I'm a bit scared of it hurting so much! I have my nose pierced, tongue, belly button and had my eye brow done and have 5 tattoos but I'm a little frightened about this one!

well since you pointed it out, i noticed it is a bit too close to the nose.

without you mentioning it though, i wouldn't have noticed.

if you want to change it, have it put closer to the lip. make sure they leave the current one in before marking the new spot so you can see the positioning better.

honestly, if i were you. i would just leave it cuz its fine :-)

Hello,

It's usually a bit lower. Something like http://tattoo.about.com/cs/plip/l/blaggie1102.htm

Hey your piercing is nice, but it does need to go a little lower than where you have it at.
