Depends on how loud you want it.

PS most of the first answer is not true.

More power bottom to top,
likely better MPG because of less back-pressure (if a ‘lite’ foot is on the pedal)
O2 sensor= non-issue on that vehicle

Me, I like the sound of a flow master on a ford V8 better than straight pipes.

Skyler. it truly is obvious your a mushy fellow and characteristic the favor to make some noise which includes your vehicle. yet a immediately pipe on a 4 banger is thoroughly lame. no longer in trouble-free words is the sound demanding to the friends yet you'll grow to be drained of it too. noticeably on a lengthy rigidity. Your more suitable constructive off going with a low reduce muffler with a resonator on the top of the exhaust. it is going to diminish the observe of the exhaust and be more suitable pleasent to anybody interior of earshot and provide you with a mild advance in performance.

It's not really a good idea, because the car will lose back pressure and will not have as much power when he goes to take off. It will also interfere with the oxygen sensor and cause his vehicle to use more fuel. :o)
