This is going to sound very weird, but tooth paste. make sure its the not the gel tooth paste. using a lint-free towl, i just used a paper towl, and take a little bit and start from the inside out in a straight line and rub all around, i had a damaged cd but then i tried it, and it looked even worse but it removed that damged layer and now it works!!

they have that thing where you put it on the bottom of the disc and it takes away all the scratches
