Does anyone like The Disney movie The Black cauldron?

I thought the Movie and the Animation was rather cool.The Reason this movie was dark it looks like Don Bluth did the animation for it. I get tired of Hearing singing all the time and bathroom humor we have now especially the Lion King with Puumbas disgusting farting habits That film shouldn't even be considered a disney Classic. The animated characters are either square as hell or CG. Disney needs to get off thier A** and stick wiith hand drawn animation another of my Favorite classics is Song Of The South.

I kinda agree with you on that. CGI is great for some movies like the Incredibles. That was awesome.

But enough already! I prefer hand drawn animation like the classic Disney stuff, and the some of the older Anime. But the story has to be there for me to actually engage with the film.

I loved The Black Cauldron! It was a really good movie, despite the fact that it flopped in the theaters. In my opinion, it had a different feel to it than the other Disney movies made back then. The other movies were a lot more colorful, whereas this one was darker and more mysterious. I, too, think that Disney should have kept hand-drawing their movies... the new ones just aren't the same!

I actually enjoyed the Black Cauldron. I really didn't think the movie was all that dark, but I loved the entire plot of the movie and though it was well done.
