Is it impossible for me to find a job in Australia with just a bachelor's degree and no clear directed path (jack of all trades, master of none)? I'm tired of fast-paced American society. If anyone has sympathy for me, can I stay at your place while I get myself settled? I'm a great cook. Yes, I have little shame.

no Sorry I don't have any sympathy for you

If you are a great cook get a job at a restaurant as a cook to earn some money to take care of yourself.

Last I knew, you had to have a job offer before you could just go to Australia without a return ticket.

You can live in the US and slow down your pace of life. You just have to be willing to do with less material things. (*shrug*) Small town living may be perfect for you...maybe find a job in some small mom and pop place in the middle of nowhere, as a short order cook.
