When faced with difficulties we are afraid. Fear consumes us and in order to keep up appearances and self-protect we turn to anger and hate. Its wired into us, an animal instinct for basic survival. Those of us who can think on a higher level (heart, soul, and mind) aren't so quick to anger.

Because, hate takes less effort than love.
Honestly, I disagree with you a bit, but only because when faced with difficulties I believe man jumps to apathy first, and only hates when forced to feel something.
Apathy takes absolutely no effort. You can choose to ignore something. You can make yourself not feel anything. When you are hurt by someone you care about, instead of nurturing your wound, you instead tell yourself that you never cared about them anyway and that they don't matter. We turn a blind eye to so many things in the world, Jaxanne. Instead of being forced to feel something for the people in Darfur, we turn a blind eye. We know it happens, but no one cares. Most people don't even care about what's going on in Iraq, and this is our own country at war. Children are starving in other countries, and we just change the channel so we're not forced to look at them.
Hate takes a bit more effort, but not much. It's so easy to hate. Because hate allows you to dehumanize them. When you hate someone, you don't have to think about or acknowledge the fact that they love, they hurt, they have a family and friends, that they are in fact a human just like yourself.
I said this in another answer I wrote, but it fits here as well. Every single person in this world has at least one secret that could break your heart, and if we could just realize this the world would be a better place.

It is much easier to hate, you have nothing to lose if you hate someone. When we love we are vulnerable and open to heart break and rejection. When it comes down to it we all need love but keeping our self-esteem is more important for a quick fix.

because in most cases hate and anger come as something easier than love and that is why most people turn to hate instead of love. it is just simply easier

Love and hate are only as easy or difficult as you make them yourself. Hate and Love are just chemical reactions in us that respond to the brain taking in data.

I would have to respectfully disagree with you.
I think it is easier to do nothing - to feel nothing - than it is to feel either of these. Apathy takes no energy. Hate and love takes energy and emotion.

It is the oldest, most raw of emotions, we revert to our animal instincts.
P.S.
A very good question.
