Sorry, I got rid of all my boy stuff. Ebay has huge lots of baby clothes for sale, and you can get them for a good price if you are familiar with ebay and how it works. Also, I don't know where you live, but www.craigslist.com is a good website that has postings for that kind of thing, in your surrounding area and they also have a free section that people just give away their items in. You might even be able to call local churches and ask them if they could ask around their church to see if anyone has something they could donate. Garage sales around me usually start on Thursday and that is the best day to find deals.

Shouldnt you have planned on buying things all along instead of waiting till the last minute. Since you will shortly be the mother of not just one child but two you should become more prepared and learn how to make the right steps for your children. You can buy baby clothes at Value City, Gabriel Bros.,Wal-Mart, or any department store. Most items are reasonably priced like a pack of onesies cost $3.99 at Value City and a complete outfit is about $6.99. If you still cant afford those low prices try having a baby shower to get some things you might need. Then as yet another option you might try used baby clothes or hand-me-downs. Just if you take that option make sure your child is getting things from clean people. Really all you have to do to find good baby clothes is have the drive to want to provide nice things for a child you put on this earth. Thats your job as a mother to be prepared for your child.

I suggest searching the web go to some websites that offer free stuff, some give free coupons on formula, diaper samples etc... In MI we have WIC, its called women's infants children, they give free food coupons, offer clothing, some new, you can also call your local churches and religious/humanitarian organizations. Not that you are less fortunate but for me as single mom working and in school full time, I would take freebies and anything I could get my hands on I just went to some resale stores, of course they "were gently used", I believe in baby showers regardless of how many you have I am all about it, sit and look up "free stuff" on line, you now have a full house so, you can try to have fun at it, oh BTW, I forgot, to sell items, go to privately owned resale shop they buy stuff generally or try to mom to mom sales through your parks/recs and churches they are a great place to sell and trade stuff with other moms, or put your own together with family/friends

I do not know where you live, but I am a foster parent for a local adoption agency. I purchase tons of items at second hand shops in our area. You can call your local chamber of commerce to get a list of stores. You will be surprised I have purchased brand new items, with store tags still attached for 50 cents. I would also suggest you contact planned parenthood, they may have a list of nonprofit organizations that donate items.

Why did you wait so long to decide to get things for the baby? Most moms start "nesting" as soon as they find out they are pregnant. It's fun to add a few things to the nest while you are waiting for the new arrival. My advice would be to check out some of the local thrift stores. Many times brand new items are donated. And they are fairly cheap. You might try putting an ad up in your local grocery store with your request for clothing.Maybe run an ad in your local newspaper.Good Luck with the new arrival.

You can try posting to http://thebestmoms.com -a lot of moms there that probably need to clear out there closets or at least can point you in the direction-(plus they have a baby freebie section). Also, check out eBay-lost of people sell their baby stuff in lots there and in yahoo groups, sign up for 'freecycle' in your area-people are always getting rid of their baby stuff there!

Congratulations!!

Try asking friendly neighbors because, after all, you are in your time of need. Try Babies R Us, and Pottery Barn Baby, or even try eBay. Good Luck, and I wish your newborn a life full of happiness!

My husband and I bought a lot of our sons baby cloths of e-bay. Otherwise another nice affordable place to look is a baby depot.

Try hunting ebay... but if you get second-hand clothing/items from ANYWHERE, be sure to sterilize+++++

I say buy new stuff anyway..
But only because I grew up wearing my hand-me-downs and hated my childhood appearance dearly.

Good luck.
