He's good, no doubt about it... but "best ever"???

Quite a few players ahead of him there, and I don't even think Brady's the best QB currently playing!
I'd rank Peyton Manning & Drew Brees ahead of him.

A better question:
Is Bill Belichick the best current coach in the NFL?
Quite possibly...

Well he has not won the super bowl yet. Tom Brady is a good QB in a great system and has a genus for a head coach. Most top NFL annalist believe the system is what wins the game not the QB. Look at the game today 3 ints and the last int would have sealed the game for San Diego but the fumble gave Brady another shot and he did what any above average QB would do make the other team pay.

Not by a long shot. He is no where close to Brett Favre (and I do not like the Packers), who should have more rings than he does. Tom Brady may be a good clutch QB, but winning Superbowls does not outweigh the stats. ,I don't think you'd find any pro football analyst who would even begin to suggest Brady is the best who ever played. Even John Madden has said that is Favre had the support staff Brady has he would never lose.

Im not sure you would be able to call him the best QB to ever play but the argument for best QB in the playoffs is very legitimate.

It hasn't just been Brady that has won the superbowls. Billicheck and the rest of the coaching staff are a huge reason for the wins. Adam Vinetari has made 2 superbowl winning field goals and other kicks just to get the team to the superbowl.

I think that Tom Brady is an excellent Quarter Back and certainly one of the best to ever play the sport but I don't think he is there just yet.

Go PATRIOTS!!

Not by a long shot. All it will do is make TB a QB that has won a number of super bowls. I think there is more to being a great quarterback than winning a super bowl, since there are 10 other guys out on the field with him, and there are 11 other guys on the field when he isn't. Football is a team sport. People tend to forget that.

i do agree that he is probably one of the best QBs to play the game of football. But i don't know. your right he doesn't have the best stats yet he surprises us every time he is at the superbowl. Maybe this is another superbowl year for him. he always goes into the superbowl game as the underdog. i think that his mindset is one that helps him win the game. Not thinking that he is gonna win this game with ease is what keeps him focused. yeah the 3 superbowls are amazing but i just don't know about being the best QB to ever play. Maybe in the superbowl, but if in regular and postseason games then i don't think that he is THE best QB there was. I mean some ppl put up great numbers but maybe have not been to the superbowl. who knows. but i do think it is amazing that a single QB can have 3 superbowl rings in his short career span of 7 years. i think he gets the success from the underdog and never-give-up attitudes. he deserves them. i wonder if he is gonna use one of those rings to propose to his girlfriend( if he has one)

I know you did not seriously pose this question, its a joke right???

I really hope so because wow...trying to call brady the best ever??? Hes a somewhat above average QB thats surrounded by great players, and Billicheck gets the most out of every player on that team, they all give 100 percent and are all around a good team...Brady did everything he could to lose today, and the Patriots still managed to win thanks to effort plays like the one Troy Brown made

Tom Brady the best quarterback to ever play American football? One would have to pass over a lot of men for that honor...Johnny Unitas, Joe Montana, Troy Aikman, come to mind.

In the clutch QB conversation maybe. Bradshaw won 4 and you never here him brought up as the best ever.

No Brady is mediocre without Belicheck they'd be nowhere and the AFC would be a lot more interesting. Dynasties are great for the fans...of the team having the dynasty but bad for the NFL as a whole.
