Kevin Cosner is much better looking in my opinion and his acting is more across the board. Mel kind of plays the same type of character always.

I think they are both good looking and are very good at acting. However Mel Gibson has turned more to directing and Keven is spinning his wheels it seems at present. Mel is better looking but Kevin has a rugged look.

well.. mel gibson is weird and i prefer kevin costner myself. in looks its kevin but mel is really a great actor. i like him in the patriot.
