Yes you can use your finger tips to apply foundation, but a small sea sponge made for applying foundation is good, when your done just rinse out and let air dry, or synthetic wedge sponges are good just toss them when your done, for me I like Jafra products there foundation works well on me and deminishes the look of fine lines and wrinkles, a good coverup for inperfections is dermablend, made for scars and burn victims they also have makeup..
these products can be found on there sites jafra.com dermablend.com or either can be found on ebay.com some at bargain prices if you watch the auctions , and sometimes even buy it now.
Hope this helps

I am a fan of liquid foundation. It has better coverage than that of a powder foundation. It also evens out your skin tone more. For me, I use a sponge to blend my foundation & it doesn't take much time for me to do so.
I'm currently using Clinique's Super Fit liquid foundation. It allows me to blend easily, yet gives a good & natural coverage. I have really oily skin yet it doesn't smudge that much. Most importantly, you have to set your foundation with loose powder.
To avoid the cakey look on your face, make sure you do not apply too much loose powder. Just a light dust on your whole face will do. And before you dust on your loose powder, allow the liquid foundation to be "absorbed" into your skin for about 10mins (5mins if you are in a hurry). This will give you a more natural look. It is also important to use a facial scrub about twice a week.
Good luck & may you have great, flawless skin. =)

Does it have to be Liquid ? I only used Liquid Foundation for years. Then someone told me to try Bare Essentials. It is a powder foundation, however it covers as well as any Liquid I have ever used and it does not cake or smear or become blotchy like most Liquid Foundations do. If you want to try sample sizes, eBay sells a lot. I use 2 different shades as my skin tone is a medium/dark shade. I think you'll like it.

i have not tried many mineral foundations, notwithstanding those I actual have tried I wasn't inspired with. I loved Revlon Colorstay Mineral Mousse, yet i did not have a coloration :( Mineral foundations is available in a large number of varieties, notwithstanding the overpowering majority are available free powder type, which I dislike. because liquid commencing position is way less messier than free powder, provides me the reassurance i'm searching for, and on account that i have tried extra of them :P, my answer is liquid commencing position.

I use outlast, I think and it has two layers. There is a sunscreen/moisturizing primer and a color coat, which seem to be effective. Your hands are sufficient, just don't rub hard or it will destroy your skin. Try something medicated if you want to take good care of your skin. Browse the shelves of your local department store - there are a lot of options.

The best way for me, is to use a blush brush. I goes on evenly, not heavily, and looks as natural as possible. All three brands in my link work great. Good luck finding what you want!
