No, marriage is not for everyone. However, if you are asking this out of a broken heart then marriage is propably for you. You just have to find the right person. If you are asking this because someone has made you feel odd for not wanting to get married then the answer is no...marriage is not for everyone.

No. I think some people do better as a "single" than as part of a "couple".
It doesn't mean they are afraid of committment, necessarily. It could just be that they really prefer their own company, or haven't met anyone who they can imagine spending their lives with.
I know, for me, while I love the IDEA of marriage, the reality of 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 52 weeks a year...year after year.. with the same person..makes me a little twitchy. It just seems to be expecting a bit much of any two people, especially when one of them is me.

No, of course not. If you are with a partner that loves and respects you, it is not always necessary to tie the knot. living together and making it work depends on whoever is involved. Some are not even interested in long term relationship either, and are fine being single. Marriage is not the only way to live a full happy life, You have to find fulfilment regardless of your marital status be it as it may.

Absolutely not--there are some persons that have a lifestyle that just wont tolerate a family life--they are far too busy going all over the world with business--and the fact that they believe a family should have each spouse home most of the time to be a family --so for them no--but that's not to say that after retirement they wont find a significant other to share the down time with--

definitely not ! Women have become too self-sufficient and self-dependent - most of them don't need to be "under the arms" of a man anymore. Maybe there'r stil just 5% women who may still have this need - but then, even this may not be forever
