why are garbage/trash compactors loosing popularity?

No, never tried lifting. My wife wants one, and I can't find them at Lowes or Home Depot. Will let her know... might be a good idea since she has been wanting to go to the gym.

I believe that it is because of the need to recycle.

because the bags are too heavy to get out...of the compactor, out of the house, and out to the street!! have you ever tried to lift one of those things???

I agree with 'dad'.....and recycling is very important.
