This is the time of year when good teams like Buffalo tank a bit because there is nothing to play for. They have a big lead pointswise, the playoffs are a ways away and they are getting bored. Relax, good teams find a way out of funks like the Sabres are in. Come playoff time the Sabres will be ready. The regular season means nothing other than entertaining the crowds and making the playoffs. That is when the real hockey begins and when wins really count. One win closer to the Stanley Cup. Example. Last year the Oilers made the playoffs by winning their second last game. They went on and won their way the the final game of the Stanley cup playoffs. That game could have gone either way though the Hurricanes had more determination to win. My pick this year to win the cup is Buffalo. I will cheer them all the way unless the Oilers meet them in the finals.

Ugh then they'd better get their acts together in a hurry. Personally, I say play Biron more because Miller isn't really anything special as far as NHL goalies and at least Marty had Hasek for a mentor. Also, if Buffalo wants a championship then the team had better start remembering how to pass to each other and what special teams are. I LOVE the Sabres and I have been a loyal fan since I was 11 years old, but they have been just plain bad over the past few games. A championship would be amazing, but it's not happening with the team playing the way they are right now, no matter how much the fans or anyone else wants it. I know the team can get back on track, but preferably they'll do it sooner than later!

For like the first time ever the sabres have passed the bills in popularity. Both Buffalo and Anahiem are struggling, so both the top teams are not playing well. I'm not too worried, Lindy just needs to mix things up a bit because the sabres are too predictiable now.

Haha, the Sabres Buffalo obsession is unbelievable. You can't even get jerseys here. A championship would be nice, since they're the only local talented team, but it's up to the players, not the viewers to make that happen.

there is still a lot of hockey to be played...and the sabres are amazing even though they have not been playing their best hockey. As long as we dont have a huge losing streak we will make the playoffs and hopefully take the #1 spot and when we do make it i dont think there can be any team that can take four games on us out of seven if we play our best and dont get hurt...like last year.

They are going through a rough streak, loosing 4 of their last 6 but they will fight through it. Every team has a bad streak, and we all knew this was going to come. They just have to keep working hard, and get thier powerplay going. Go Sabres

Start worrying once the playoffs start. All you have to do is MAKE them, and that won't be an issue. And you should have a much easier trip to the finals....the best teams seem to be concentrated in the west this time around.

Don't worry. We'll win our next game and start a winning streak that will last twice as long as the losing one did, at least.
