he tells you that they wont hurt you and that he will always love you and that he will make you happy and because you love him you believe him and he ends up lying?!?!?!

yeah i do hate it...which is why i've stopped beleiving it
i mostly just go along with the flow now...i don't get my heart broken anymore....
although that does sound like the beginning of a romantic comedy where the girl finds her true love and is taught the real meaning of love who won't hurt her...

Fools in love we certainly are - we believe anything that will allow us to justify what we really want.
But we all do it.
And what makes it worse is that they ALL say that very same thing. Haven't found anyone who meant it yet!

I hate men like that.
It's been 6 years since my boyfriend dumped me.
We were together for 3 years, and he was unfaithful to me. I only found that out after he'd dumped me.
It still hurts!
