I think my boyfriend's mother is psycho. She knows I'm not pregnant, don't currently have a child, and I don't even want kids in the near future! Her son and I aren't even married! He doesn't want kids either. Should I sell the diaper bag on eBay?! What if she asks about it!?

Sell it or re-gift it! If his Mother asks, just be honest! What are you going to do with a Diaper Bag if you don't currently have a baby??? It's useless to you. Be nice though........it was just her way of saying she wants you and her son to get married and have babies already. An inappropriate gift!

I honestly don't think that you should sell the diaper bag. here's why...
I think that you should talk to your boyfriend's mom and explain how you both feel to her.
After you all get a chance to talk and share your feelings together, I think maybe you should ask his mom to return the diaper bag and get you and your boyfriend a different gift, a gift that is more practical for both of you.

I think she's trying to tell you that she wants some grandchildren. I was always taught that you don't give away and you don't sell gifts. I would suggest packing it away in the closet. But if you won't to get rid of it I suppose you could just give it away. Is it possible that you could use it to store some other things?

hey there trust me a diaper bag can be used for all sorts of things not just diapers so evan if there are no babies you could dtill use it for like acarrying case/bag.or just keep it and put keepsake stuff in it you could use ity for anything or if you have a friend that is expecting a baby you could always pass it on to her..best of luck

Wow, and I thought my mother-in-law gave terrible gifts.
I'm a 40 year old med. student. I live my life at school, at the hospital or studying.
For Christmas this year she gave me a shovel and a metal detector!

Don't sell it!!! But talk to your bf about talking to his mother about it with you, or if he wouldn't try to let her know that you don't want kids. But very kind and everything!

i don't know about ebay, but if you don't want it give it to the salvation army or some kind of women's shelter. i'm sure they'd need it. and if she asks, just politely tell her you and her son aren't planning on having kids.

maybe she didn't know it was a diaper bag, or maybe she thought it'd be a nice bag to put stuff in. or maybe she's just really stupid or hopeful.
