Make your own homemade lip exfoliator. Mix a teaspoon of vaseline with a teaspoon of cinnomon spice. Apply to lips to 1 minute. Wipe it off with a damp wash cloth.

Apply a thick layer of vaseline and leave it on for a couple of minutes.
Take an old toothbrush or soft towel and gently rub it over your lips until they look smooth and shiny. Do not attempt this on dry lips, make sure you have used a moisturiser first.
As soon as you are done with exfoliating the lips, apply a lip balm (there are so many out there - Smith's Rosebud Salve, Body Shop's born lippy) or you can use butter or olive oil at home.
At night, apply a thick layer of vaseline before you sleep.
Avoid licking your lips, drink plenty of water and get some vitamin supplements from your doc.

First, stop using chap stick. Chap stick and carmex, etc are almost addictive for your skin. Use vaseline or a clean lip gloss, not goopie.
Your lips are so used to using "medication" that they've forgotten how to moisturize themselves. Exfoliate lightly when brushing your teeth and get vaseline in a tube. You can obsess over that without it hurting your lips.

Use a soft toothbrush for gentle exfoliation or a wet washcloth if your lips are a bit rougher. Plus your lips are way plumper for the next hour and it enhances the natural color of your lips. Also, burts bees or any brand of rose salve work great to keep them soft.

ooh.. yes there is definately a way to "exfoliate" per se..
when you wake up .. wet a washcloth with warm water and rub (but not too hard) the dead lip skin off.. your lips will feel a little raw .. immediately after put a vaseline or burtsbees or the lip buffer by C.O. Bigelow mentioned by someone. and then keep this up for the rest of winter

Use a wash cloth on your lips and lightly rub to exfoliate. Try regular Vaseline to moisturize them, especially at night. I would stay away from anything medicated unless you develop a problem that calls for medicated products.

Simply use an old toothbrush or buy a soft one, wet it and gently rub your lips. You can do this after you brush you teeth!
This is a recommended inexpensive way to safely exfoliate your lips!

Mary Kay sells some lip exfoliator. Or if you need something right now get sugar and baby oil and make a paste and rub it on your lips. Hope this helps babe:)

Blistex: Lip Medex..... It's for cold sores, cracked, and dry lips.. and peel them, i don't know if i should, but i do it anyway to get that softness back.. the little container is dark royal blue, a little bigger than a pop bottle cover.. it's about 3 something for one of 7g's... the chapped lip thing is in my family.. genetic somehow.. i have it all year.

I found that brushing your lips with an exfoliator like sugar scrub helps get rid of roughness and the vasoline to make them soft.
