Hey:

I just answered a question about this- another girl felt better than felt she had a relapse. I had mono in February and did not know it as well (thought it was the flu) and then found out it was mono. I was sick for about 3 months. There are no medications for it. All you can do is REST, eat right, take vitamins and drink a lot of fluids. You need to go back to the doctor and get more blood work to make sure there is nothing going on. Do this as soon as possible. Also you need to take some time off work and sports until you feel up to it. Start back slowly when you do feel better. I would feel better than feel horrible again and the doctor said it was the virus recycling itself though my body. It can effect you when you are tired for a long time. It can also, but rarely, develop into chronic fatigue syndrome. The good news is that you cannot get it again. However, it weakens your immune system especially in the beginning. That is another reason you need to go to doctor and stay home and rest. You will feel better but slowly. I am 52 and I have almost completely recovered. You are young so you should recover faster. I only feel bad now when I am really overdoing it. I did not have a sore throat either. It can effect your spleen and so no sports unless the doctor says it is OK. Take care of yourself and make the doctor appointment tomorrow if possible and follow all his instructions. Hope this helps you. Google mono on net or go to CDC website or Mayo clinic website.

Mono is a great imposter and can begin in various ways, but sore throat and fatigue are most common early symptoms. They can last for several weeks or longer. Most cases do not take more than three months to resolve. If you are not getting better soon, you should revisit your doctor for careful exam and perhaps more tests.

There isn't much you can do except listen to your body and rest. You need to avoid alcohol for at least the next six months. When you get mono it stops your liver from working properly, and it can't process the toxic stuff out of the alcohol, and you get alcohol poisoning a lot sooner, and you really don't want your liver to stop altogether. I had it when I was 18. My liver function dropped to 25%. Not good.

curiously, you won't be in a position to call 4 the two, yet you could circulate on an prolonged diatribe against the militia. i don't think we've bombed 4 international places interior the final 2 weeks, notwithstanding that's existence decide to have confidence that we've used explosive munitions in the two Afghanistan or Iraq. by some skill i don't see a thank you to equate keeping our pastimes to imperialism.

Lots of B vitamins may help, but mono is tired, all there is.

Dont think about it, be positive, and pray Allah Swt helps you.

Islam is true path.
