Can you give me some bullying advice?

This friend in one of my classes keeps calling me retarded and pokes me in class even when I dont do anything to him to provoke it. What do you think would be a good comeback when he says Im retarded?

Also I dont want to tell on him or anything like that becuase I like him. I just want him to stop calling me names. Im trying to think of a good comeback when he says "youre retarded"

The most prevalent thing about bullies and chronic, malicious teasers is that they are only happy when they get a negative reaction from the object of their teasing and bullying. So, if you act liek it bothers or upsets you they gladly persist. But when you brush it off as inane banter from a person who really knows nothgin about you then they often lose interest. Of course if you can play it up wiht them and even laugh at yoruself some, that makes them really wonder if maybe they are not gaining any ground in their intended way.

The best strategy is to IGNORE him believe it or not.

If you MUST say something, you can muster up a genuine laugh, and chuckle "It takes one to know one!!" Of course he will not understand what you mean, (because he may be a bit of a creton) but others will, and they will appreciate your humor in the situation. Then immediately start a conversation with ANYONE else BUT him! He will not have an audience for long and the fun will cease. Good luck!
