I kind of know how that feels. My husband has been to Iraq twice and in those last few minutes before he left I had mixed emotions. Try not to cry. yes it shows that you are very sad but that is not the last thing this special someone wants to see. Normally people like to see others smile. So even though it will be very hard try to smile. Just kiss and hug this person as much as you can and tell them how much you love them and just try to keep it happy. Tell them things like call me when you get there and be careful and loving comments, things like that are really nice and once again dont cry!!!

Hi,
I have been in this situation before and it wasn't easy by any means.
I had to tell that person just how much I loved him and how much I was going to miss him...and also tell him all of the other things that I felt in my heart and in my mind about him.
I felt like a part of me was dying and I was going to stop breathing at any moment. It was the hardest thing that I ever had to do...
not only did I have do this with my fiancee when I was engaged....but I also had to do this again, with a boyfriend that I met after my fiancee passed away!!!
I can still remember both of those days, like they were yesterday!
I never realized that I would ever be in this situation, Until it happened to me....Not only onece...but twice!!!!
If you have to face this situation yourself, then I sure wish you the best!! I hope that you get a chance to say everything that is on your mind in just the little bit of time that you have to say it all in!

A lot could be done in three minutes. First you should say how much you mean to them fastly that you love them youll miss then all that stuff. The rest of the time, kiss them.I'd feel terrible but as long as they'd be coming back then i could make it through

I would tell my husband that he is my best friend in the whole world and that he made my life so much better as he encouraged me to be more than I thought I could be. I would tell him that he should move on and find someone to love him just as much as I loved him.

i would probably wan to tell them how much i loved them....! i would try to make the best of that time, eventhough it would b very hard knowing id never c them... but i know from experience that you feel terrible when some1 u loves goes away and u never told them how much u loved them, and even if you did you feel lik eu didnt, so i think thats the most important and warm thing you can tell some1, also u might want to ask them something you really want to know, and something on ly they know!
but lets hope none of us ever have to do this.....becuase saying goodbye to some1, and if you know its you "last" time is very hard and sad.

I would list everyone in my family, say the qualities of them very very quickly and how much they have comforted me in my life, how much they cared for me, and how much I cared for the world and its people.
