You won't be able to download the latest titles (only via torrents or P2P programs, though you should be cautious of viruses, worms and spyware from such unreliable sources.)
However, you can download old games for free (sega genesis, super nintendo (nes) and more) through emulations sites.

Yahoo has the full verison, but it is only a 60 min trial. after that you can play for 5 min and then it will stop and then go back on it and you can play for another 5 min. etc...
