I would say that they have been good games. The Colts and Ravens was not high scoring but it was a defensive battle.

Eagles and Saints was really good.

During the wild card round I thought that those games were good too.

Seattle and Dallas was nuts!

The only so so games was KC and the Colts

Better than it has been in a while.

When you look at the Patriots/ Chargers game that was a nail bitter and it could have went either way. I cannot recall so many close games in the playoffs.

This weekends match ups are some incredible games as well.

New England at Colts

The Colts are playing Defense? Who knew? Dungy has them using the old Tampa Bay style cover 2. Teams are unable to pass against them and they are stopping the run. Can the Pats make the right adjustments to win?

The Pats are winning despite the poor play of the wide outs and Tom Brady. Don't get me wrong. Brady is the best in the business. He is however struggling badly with the limited options at wideout and the lack of a Pro Bowl caliber receiver.

Can the Pats pull off the miracle at the Dome? Will it be finally Peyton's year? How amazing is it that they were able to regain the # 1 seed and homefield?

The Saints go from 3-13 to 10-6 and division champs. No team in the history of the NFL made that big of turn around and actually make it to the Championship game. The 99 Rams were 4-12 the year prior.

We all know about Katrina. You cannot imagine how big it would be for the Saints just to make it to the Superbowl. They are 1 of the teams that has never been to the Superbowl.

Either Dungy or Lovie would be the first African American coach to take his team to the Superbowl. How huge is that?

These are just some of the incredible stories that we are now seeing in the playoffs. This year will be hard to top and I would definitely say that they have been better than good. They have been great! I cannot wait for Sunday. I am all juiced up!

Not so much the Colts game yesterday but there has been some really great drama. Some huge heartbreaks. Some stellar performances. A lot of surprises. I don't think this could have been predicted. It really has been great.

The Patriots trick play on the two point conversion.
The Tony Romo fumble.
The Colts winning a playoff game without scoring a touchdown.

What else do you want in football? :) I am excited to see what comes next.

New Orleans Hornets upsetting the Los Angeles Lakers WITHOUT David West. Chris Paul had a monster game (IMO, the best performance of this year's Playoffs thus far). BQ: Boston Celtics vs. New York Knicks (Ray Allen 3-point game-winner) BQ2: Chris Paul BQ3: Pau Gasol .

Yes, I would have liked the Ravens to beat Indy, but SD losing kind of balances that out. Hopefully Shittenhiemer will get fired and I will never have to see or hear him again.
