Well.. I like uber-feminine names, so Kooper is not my style. But I realize it's popular now to use last names as first names and I'm sure some folks will love Kooper/Cooper.

How about Kooper Scout?

How can someone with a great name like Jake (also my son's name) even think of naming a girl Kooper?? Sorry, but i know way too many dogs (the four-legged kind) named Cooper.

If you are thinking of naming your child Kooper, it is your decision and no one Else's. As long as you have put a lot of thought and love into choosing the name it is perfect. Children Will always find a rhyme for any name and will always tease.

I've only known boys with the name Kooper. I wish you luck.

Terrible. It sounds too masculine. But honestly, the only Cooper i've ever known was a dog. And i'm not big on the new trend of using last names as first names. Some of them are just aweful.

How would YOU like to be called Kooper? If you don't mind, well, i guess thats your choice. But i would hate it myself.

I think that people should be more inventive when it comes to names. If you name your daughter Kooper than she will be unique. Granted she may be ridiculed because she is unique. My girlfriend has a "boy's name" and she has had little trouble with it. It definitely makes her stand out.

You can be sure that when someone says "Hey have you talked to Kooper?" No one will say "Which Kooper?" I have very common name and through out school I always had at least one other person in every class that had the same name. We always had to resort to .

I think it is a great name. Congratulations on your new daughter.

To me, Kooper's a surname anyway, so I wouldn't even name a guy that. So, I think that it's not a great idea for a name.

that poor child.

i kid. i kid. actually, I like the name kooper. I've always liked the whole girl names that can be shortened to guy names. Like Samantha to Sam or Danielle to Danny.

Although, on the bad side, people can argue that slutty girls have those kinds of names half the time/ Like the ever so popular "toni" at my old high school was the junior class whore.

i think your safe with Kooper though. cute, classy. I approve. :-)

If I met a girl named Kooper, I would think her parents were idiots.
