My best friend and I are both really good singers, and I've sold a CD before when I was 10 but I only sold it to relatives, and it wasn't very good... but my friend and I joined a choir and have like amazing voices. The problem is, we're only 13 years old and no one takes us seriously, so I think it would be pretty hard to make a good CD or something like that. I mean we want to kind of make it big time, but being respected as actually musicians instead of just little kid wanna-be's, which we're not. Any one have any advice?

The best answer I can give you is do what I did and am still doing. Stay dedicated. No matter what anybody else says or thinks, it's only your opinion that matters to your life. I started in with music when I was 7. I'm 16 now and I'm still practicing and staying dedicated. As long as you're doing what you love, then you're doing the right thing. Even though I've stayed dedicated for 9 years, many people I talk with still tell me to find a "realistic goal". This is a realistic goal. But you do have to understand one thing. You could be the most talented vocalist and still not make it. Several of the best never make it and are forced to give up their dreams. When the going gets tough, just keep your head held high and don't let go of your dreams.

Depends where you live actually, but you don't need to be signed to a big record label to make yourself a cd. a couple of hundred dollars and a friendly local studio producer should help you record at least one song - they might even write an original song just for you. What major city do you live in - I'll be able to put you in touch with some people who may be able to help....

Honey stay at it! When I was 13 I played the synth and did vocals in a band with all guys that were all at least 17. We did pretty well and did gigs and played with Hawthorne Heights once. (before they got big of course) That band broke up but it was a great experience.

Make a cd and sell it on ebay and through your own website.

MC Hammer used to sell his own CD's out of the trunk of his car before he signed to a major label. He actually made a lot of money doing that.

You should do a ll 3.
