I've tried using everthing imaginable from Kaboom, to Chloring, from Baking Soda to Bam...why is Salycilic Acid the best soap scum remover out there and is so safe on your skin, it's Amazing.

Acne Face Washes. 2% usually, it's AMAZING!! If you market this product and make a little cash I do expect a little cash reward... much appreciated.

Eeegads, the vinegar solution doesn't work as well, plus it STINKS.

I to have noticed this, isn't it amazing. I don't think someone like clorox or kaboom can patent is since it is naturally occuring so they can't really make money off of it. I guess this is why oxy or clearisil uses this to clean your face so gentle but removes and clogs all those oils in your skin. Only problem it's very expensive. I tried the aspirin trick in didn't work, must be disolved in alcohol or something.

Acidi Salycitic Acid is Asprin tablets. Disolve those into water and clean with that.

First the acid in it chemically breaks down the scum, then then baking powder in there acts like an polishing compound

You can use ordinary white vinigear plus a household kitchen abrasive and it works as well if not better.

WOW. Sorry, this isn't an answer...but Salycilic Acid is a headache remedy used in powders such as Goody's, Stanback, etc.

If I had to guess, I'd have to say it's the acid in it.

But, in any case, can you tell me where you can buy Salycilic Acid in pure form? I'll try it for cleaning.
