Here are two ways to do it, I will label them A and B

1A. Goto a parts store and purchase a Chilton's or Haynes car repair manual for your car.

2A.Read up on it. It'll give you a basic idea of what you are looking at.

3A. Then ask your question again with emphasis on which parts you need clarification on as there are probably about thirty different steps to remove your alternator.

OR

1B. Take your car to a mechanic and either
1B.1 Pay him to do it for you or,
1B.2 Have him show you what all you need to take off and follow the steps in 1A.

For the alternator all you should need to do is find the tensioner pulley, take the tension off of the belt and remove it from your alternator. Next remove the electic line from the back of the alternator. Then there should be I think three bolts to remove the alternator from the block. You should then be able to remove the alternator from the engine and replace with a new or rebuilt alternator. Good luck!

2. wait for mechanic to replace
3. drink coffee while waiting
4. read the outdated magazines
5. pay da man
6. go home and be happy you didnt **** up your car :)

Pick up your phone, call your local mechanic and have them do it. You sound lost already
