I have never heard of moon sand, but I can tell you that all the real lunar material collected by NASA is under lock and key.

None of it is being sold. There are rumors of black market Moon rocks selling for big bucks, so if this moon sand is less expensive than gold dust, it isn't really from the Moon.

It seems to be a company secret. All I can find on their web site is that it is non-toxic and does not contain wheat, gluten, milk, egg, casein or peanut ingredients. They make no claim that it is actually from the Moon, it is just a name.
