It's not the actual piercing that hurts on your belly button, it's the aftermath that will bug you. Everytime your stomach moves, you will feel it and hurt, especially when you stretch it out. Just be sure to take care of it and it shouldn't be that bad. The pain should subside within 1-2 weeks.

The belly button piercing will not be with a gun. It will be done manually so it will take a little longer but it shouldn't hurt much more. I had it done and it wasn't too bad. Just make sure you take a deep breath as the piercer is about to do it, and sometimes it helps not too look while it's being done.

I'm not going to get started on having used a gun for your cartilage. I hope you have better luck that most people do with it since that shatters your cartilage and makes healing more painful and difficult.
As far as the navel piercing, the pain will differ from person to person. I had my cartilage done with a needle a few weeks before my navel and my navel hurt less than the cartilage. But I also know people who have passed out from the pain as well. Just make sure if you do get it done, you educate yourself on correct aftercare (check the link below), you eat a good meal before you go in to help regulate your blood sugar (helps reduce the chance you will get light headed or pass out), and you check out your piercer thoroughly. If you have any doubts, leave. Also make sure you are willing to commit to 6 months to a year of dilligent aftercare since it takes at least that amount of time for the piercing to heal and before you can change the jewelry out. Good luck.

If you have that done yes I think you could handle it I have mine done They just push the needle through your navel then put the earing bar in It will be a little tender for a day if you knock it on something but if you don't play with it it will not get infected that is what really would hurt.

Yeah. you in all probability might desire to. The cartilige is far less mushy than the tummy button (or atleast in my case) ,yet you may desire to be superb because of the fact they use a needly while they pierce your abdomen button.

the ring itself dose not feel a thing. The piercing, does! Just make sure to keep it clean and not get infected. Also don't catch it on things. Good luck if you decide to do it.

hurts more than cartlidge, but its not bad and it is done manually but it quick. Take a friend with you to hold your hand. I was 18 when I had it done, cried and felt stupid after because it was no bad and looks so cute.

it doesn't hurt at all!
they pinch off the skin where it's getting pierced.
i swear to god, you don't even feel it.
i got myself so worked up about my piercing
that by the time it was done all i could say was,
"wait, you're done??"
it felt like an ear piercing to me.
