Why should i say i interviewer asking 'Please introduce yourself?'?

Am i have to just answer my name, age, educational background...that's all?

If you have submitted your resume and CV to them, it would not be necessary to talk too much.

Keep your introduction brief and succinct. Just your name, the highest degree that you have (if you have just graduated) or your strengths and recent achievements.
